The Fabricator 181® features a quick disconnect fitting gun allowing the operator to set up out-of-the-box very easily and quickly and is a timesaving and convenient feature when removing the torch to clean or when replacing the liner. Other features include a feeder drive system which has a rugged non-conductive feedhead, a low noise constant speed drive motor, an easily adjustable idle roll pressure arm and one feedroll which runs mild steel and stainless steel wire.

This unit comes set up for .030” diameter solid wire and the feed roll also contains a groove for .023”/.035” wire. Optional kits are also available to convert the gun and feed system to use .030”, .035” and .045” flux cored and self-shielding wire (mild steel and stainless steel) and .035" aluminum wire.

The Fabricator 181® comes equipped with: a built-in wire feeder and wire spool hub; a 2 lb. spool of .030” solid wire; quick connect Tweco® welding gun and cable; work cable and clamp; input power cord; regulator and flowgauge; spare contact tips and nozzles.

The Tweco Fab 250 MIG Gun fitted to the Fabricator® 181 offers robust construction, unparalleled reliability and easy replacement of consumable parts. It also has an operating capacity in excess of the capacity of the Fabricator® 181 and is available in 12 ft. (3.66 m) lengths and connects to the power source by a quick-disconnect fitting.
